A day with Eleanor and Edsel

Within walking distance of our home in Saint Clair Shores is the Ford House. The home of Edsel and Eleanor Ford. They raised their family on the shores of Lake Saint Clair.

After Eleanor passed she donated the property to be used as a place where the public could come and see what a beautiful place the Fords had. This week they opened two new buildings that house a fantastic museum and meeting rooms as well as a couple nice restaurants. We walk the grounds a couple times a week and have enjoyed our time with Edsel and Eleanor.

Moss is kind of a Big Deal
You must also tour the house where the Fords lived
Not too bad of a kitchen
You meet so many interesting folks while hiking on Bird Island.
Explore where you live.
