Ten years ago we took our grandkids to the Colorado Renaissance Festival. My good friend, Greg, had graciously given me his old D70 Nikon camera. It was the first ‘real’ camera I ever owned. It was an excellent piece of digital equipment.
I started experimenting with settings right away. Now I could take hundreds of shots and even work on enhancements to see what I could do.
While sitting at the magic show I lifted up the camera and started shooting. When I looked when we got home, I couldn’t believe what I had captured. This started my creative juices and I haven’t been the same since.
Capturing color, composition and story have been a passion for me. And I greatly enjoy seeing what others are doing with this art form.
