Color, Composition and Story Post number 9

Back in 2016 we visited mainland China for one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ trips. We came to hug our Chinese ‘kids’ and to see the country they had told us about.

In the city of Shenzhen, province of Guangdong, our dear ‘daughter’ Fanying took us to a cultural park that highlighted the history of China.

This was a troop of dancers demonstrating folk dances of different eras in the ancient history. They were a disciplined group with fantastic costumes of the period.

This young lady was composed and an amazing dancer. All of a sudden her partner tripped on a long scarf and fell. She started giggling and could not stop. It was a serendipitous comic moment that made the ‘show’ delightfully human.
