Between my time as a Docent at the Denver Zoo and a Naturalist here in the San Bernardino Forest, I have been doing ‘tours’ for close to 20 years.

I take consciously what I am doing. It is all based on a relationship. It is more than a mere ‘if they like me they will like what I am saying’. I enjoy helping people relate to their world and the wonders of creation.

During my final Wildflower Hike on the Baldwin Ecological Reserve of the 2019 season I had the most delightful family I had all year. Mom, Dad and 6 small kids. We laughed, talked, and learned all kinds of new things.

I am grateful for opportunities to relate to people and nature.
