I know I have been away from the blog for a long time. I have been involved in a course through the University of California to become a certified California Naturalist. The course was conducted by the Big Bear Discovery Center. It was a rigorous and fun college course. On Friday November 5th, I completed the work and was awarded the certificate. I am proud of what I accomplished and look forward to volunteering even more in the most diverse National Forest in the US: The San Bernardino National Forest.
