Years ago my good friend Greg gave me a wonderful Nikon digital camera.  It is the first D70 series that still takes fantastic pictures.  (He graduated into very fancy, cameras and this one was sitting around.)  I have been taking thousands of shots ever since.

Denise took a photography course in college and  has always had a terrific eye for setting up shots.  And, she has owned two HTC smartphones.  The Androids have always been much better than the iPhones with amazing cameras.  So, we kind of, not really compete, but rather compare our photos.

Here are two of her pictures that I think are outstanding.  She took them with her HTC M1 9 phone.  They were at the Big Bear Air Show on Saturday August 15, 2015.  At first I thought she should crop our the little girl with the pink hat.  When I thought about it more, I realized they were the true art of the shot.  It makes them infinitely human and adds to the story.  This little kid was fascinated with these cars and stood there for a long time gazing at them.
