After hours of work on signs and procuring an appropriate flag, we were ready to head downtown.

We were about to get in the car to head to the site when the thunder and lightning started. Having had direct experience with the effects of lightning hitting people, I don’t mess with ‘The Big L’. We know a bunch of people braved it and we were majorly bummed, but we did not go to City Hall Park. We were there in spirit and will continue to speak out against normalizing what the current occupant in the White House is doing and knowing it is time to ‘Shake the Superflux’
