We were not home in Denver but with 2,000 rallies we found a great one to participate in.

In Oklahoma City the march began in Scissortail park.

Besides the stated purpose of declaring to the world that the USA does not have a king and won’t entertain anyone who thinks they are one – it is interesting to observe the homemade signs.

Another thing I don’t understand is when news agencies cover something like this they talk about …’a thousand people marched…’. How could you get that so wrong? Where were you? Thousand? Try thousands!

OKC is still in the NBA finals. Nothing like a little plug for the home team.

Oklahoma is the buckle of the ‘Bible belt’, it was fascinating to see how faith showed up at the rally.

We were amazed and happy to see people of all ages in attendance.

The walk to car in the pouring rain took us past the stadium where the NBA finals are taking place.

My sign, a little wet and crumpled but it made it through the day.
