We had the privilege of visiting the latest exhibit at the Fort Lewis College Museum in Durango Colorado.It was an art exhibition featuring the theme of how closely related Indigenous themes are to the themes of the films of Star Wars.Native American artists used their creativity to show Star Wars characters and scenes as seen through the eyes of Indigenous people.Star Wars characters showed up on Native LandsWhy SPAM? This painter said it represents an important staple to Native peoples because some many people did not have refrigerators to store fresh meat.We had a fantastic time walking around such creativity.
