Reflections on Leon at 50

Now that we have been parents for 50 years we can reflect on what we enjoy and admire about Leon Russell Flanders. From the very beginning he has had a huge smile on his face. And earned his nickname of ‘Guy Smiley’.
It is like he knows something and is happy to share it, if you would like to hear it.
And he is ready for anything. He is open to all adventures and is eager to get started…so let’s get going.
‘Ride a horse holding a cat…why not?’
‘Sit on a movie star’s lap, sure.’
‘Try to decide between The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, whatever you say, Dad.’
‘Ya, I’m not into this whole napping thing.’
‘Bowties and gramma, sure, why not.’
Fifty years and we won’t want to miss a second of it. Thanks for letting us be a part of your adventure. We love you Leon.
