It was simply too overwhelming to listen to what was happening in the world. There was no place to turn that was not disappointing/depressing. I did find something that was absolutely positive and informative.
The finest podcast I had come across and one that I look forward to tuning in to every day. Andrew Hickey’s ‘A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs’.
He begins in the early 1930s and looks at influences and artists that created the music scene we have today. I was amazed at the detail and work Andrew put into each episode. (It has been going for over 4 years and he puts out new episodes all the time.)

It was rather like a mental health break for me to have this podcast to look forward to. Wherever you find podcasts, type in ‘A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs’
