We enjoyed all of the cities we visited, and perhaps our favorite city was Shanghai.  It could be compared to our New York City.  A strong, vibrant economy and modern buildings with a cosmopolitan population.  Our ‘daughter’ Xiaoxia along with her parents were our hosts.
